Winter Musical Jamboree
Saturday, January 26 at 7:00PM
A winter concert of music from area churches
and musical groups. This year's concert will feature Larry
Seay, a Christian gospel singer and the Fagan sisters, a contemporary
Christian Trio. A nursery will be provided. Donations will be
accepted to support the 2008 World Hunger Auction events and refreshments will
follow the program Join us for music,

Sunday, April 27 at

The six mile walk starting and ending at
Antioch Church raises awareness of and generates funds for world hunger.
Walkers walk for money that has been pledged to them or may make a
contribution. The walk starts & finishes at Antioch
Church of the Brethren and includes rest stops along the way with refreshments provided by the Monte Vista Church. You can download your

Golf Tournament
Saturday, May 17 with Tee
Off at 1:00PM
Join us at Mariner's Landing Golf &
Country Club for an eighteen hole captain's-choice golf tournament.
There will be prizes for top three, team scores, longest drive, closest to the
pin and more. The tournament includes lunch, driving range
access and soft drinks during play, with all proceeds going to support world
hunger. All entry forms must be completed & received by the May

Bike Ride
Saturday, June 7th at
8:00AM
Bikers can chose from a fifty,
twenty-five,
ten or five mile course through the mountains and valleys of Franklin and Floyd counties
starting and ending at Antioch Church
of the Brethren. Rest stops are provided along the
way. Bikers are sponsored which provides another important source of
funds to make a difference to those who are hungry. For more details

Organ Concert
Sunday, June
8th at 4:00PM
As outlined in our
informational flyer,
please join us on at Antioch Church of the Brethren and enjoy a very
entertaining evening of advanced organ compilations by Franklin County's own
Jonathan Emmons followed by a delicious dessert social and fellowship.
Family Fun Day

Bring your blanket and chair and join us at Monte Vista
Acres to enjoy an evening of food, activities, music and fellowship to support

World Hunger Auction
Saturday, August 9, 2008 starting at 9:30AM
The culmination to our year of fund-raising
activities, the World Hunger Auction, is held each August at Antioch Church of
the Brethren in Rocky Mount, VA. The auction includes the sale of
crafts, quilts, toys, produce, baked and canned goods,
special services and much more. Come early for the best selection.
Let the highest bidder win, for doing what we can opens the door for God to do
much more.
