Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, January 12th -
7AM to 10AM
Join us at the Antioch
Church of the Brethren for a delicious pancake breakfast & early morning fellowship as
we start off our 2013 World Hunger Fundraising activities. All proceeds
from the breakfast will benefit those in need in our local community and
beyond.
Winter Musical Jamboree
Sunday, February 10th -
4PM to 6PM
A winter concert of music from area churches
and musical groups. This concert will once again include many
entertaining groups. A nursery will be provided. Donations will be
accepted to support the 2013 World Hunger Auction charities and refreshments will
follow the program Join us for music,
fellowship, food and fun at Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren location
on Brick Church Road just behind Virginia Furniture Mart..
Hunger Walk
Sunday, April 28 -
starts at 3PM
The six mile walk starting and ending at
Antioch Church raises awareness of and generates funds for world hunger.
Walkers walk for money that has been pledged to them or may make a
contribution. The walk starts & finishes at Antioch
Church of the Brethren and includes rest stops along the way with refreshments provided by the Monte Vista Church. You can download your

Golf
Tournament
Saturday, June 8 - lunch is at noon and tournament play begins at 1PM
Join
us at Mariner's Landing Golf & Country Club for our 11th annual eighteen hole
captain's-choice golf tournament. There will be prizes for top three,
team scores, longest drive, closest to the pin and more. The
tournament includes lunch, driving range access and soft drinks during play,
with all proceeds go to support world hunger. Download your team

Spaghetti Meal & Handbell Concert
Sunday, May 19th -
1:30PM to 3:00PM
Join us at the Antioch
Church of the Brethren for a delicious spaghetti lunch followed by a
special handbell concert in the sanctuary performed by the Antioch COB
handbell ringers. All donations from the lunch and concert will benefit those in need in our local community and
beyond.
Bike Ride
Saturday, June
1nd - registration Begins at 8AM
Bikers can chose from a fifty,
twenty-five,
ten or five mile course through the mountains and valleys of Franklin and Floyd counties
starting and ending at Antioch Church
of the Brethren. Rest stops are provided along the
way. Bikers are sponsored which provides another important source of
funds to make a difference to those who are hungry. For more details

Organ Concert
Sunday, July
14th at 4PM
Please
join us on at Antioch Church of the Brethren and enjoy a very entertaining
program of advanced organ compilations by Franklin County's own Jonathan Emmons.
This entertaining event will be followed by a delicious dessert social and fellowship.
Be sure not to miss this wonderful afternoon of music and fellowship.
World Hunger Auction
Saturday, August 10,
2013 starting at 9:30AM
The culmination to our year of fund-raising
activities, the World Hunger Auction, is held each August at Antioch Church of
the Brethren in Rocky Mount, VA. The auction includes the sale of
crafts, quilts, toys, produce, baked and canned goods,
special services and much more. Come early for the best selection.
Let the highest bidder win, for doing what we can opens the door for God to do
much more.
